Tommaso Ciampa will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time due to a neck injury. The NXT champion was scheduled to compete for Harley Race’s World League Wrestling this weekend as part of an NXT talent-share. The promotion announced on Twitter that he will be replaced by Adam Cole.

Ciampa was also scheduled to compete for CHAOTIC Wrestling on March 15th as well. He will be replaced by Hanson from the War Raiders, who has previously wrestled for CHAOTIC.
Tommaso Ciampa Injured
WWE recently sent out the following press release in regards to Ciampa’s status:
NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will undergo neck surgery tomorrow, WWE.com has confirmed.
Following a medical evaluation today, Ciampa has been scheduled for an anterior cervical fusion.
Ciampa had also recently been competing on RAW and Smackdown in addition to NXT. As of this writing, there is no timetable for his return.
