NJPW will present the Super J-Cup junior heavyweight tournament later this summer. The tournament will run from August 22nd – 25th on a 3-show tour of the United States west coast. The promotion announced recently that while Jushin Liger will be on the tour and compete on the shows, he will not enter the tournament itself.
TJP, Dragon Lee, and SHO were recently announced as the first 3 competitors in the tournament.
Tournament dates are as follows: August 22nd in Tacoma, WA, the 24th in San Fransico, and the 25th in Lon Beach at the Walter Pyramid.

Starting his in-ring career in 1999, TJP is a young veteran of the game, with two decades of experience wrestling in rings all around the world.
This includes Japan, where he made his NJPW debut in 2002 as Pinoy Boy, after training extensively in NJPW’s original LA Dojo. TJP wrestled for NJPW between 2002 and 2005, returning in 2011 for the Best of the Super Juniors, where he beat Davey Richards, Jado and Taichi to score a 3-5 record.
