AEW has added 2 matches to their charity show on July 13th. The promotion has booked Daily’s Place in Matt & Nick Jacksonville, Florida for an event to raise money for victims of gun violence.
The AEW schedule for 2019 is starting to shape up. Their schedule now includes 3 confirmed shows, 1 rumored show, and a debuting TV show.
According to Don Callis, if AEW had not come around, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho would be in Impact Wrestling right now.
Kota Ibushi was recently interviewed by Japanese media outlet, ShuPru, he turned down AEW’s offer last year. He also mentioned he hasn’t spoken to Kenny Omega since Wrestle Kingdom.
AEW announced several new members of their roster last night in Las Vegas. The promotion also confirmed a few matches for Double or Nothing, May 25th, 2019 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
New Japan Pro Wrestling presented Wrestle Kingdom 13 and New Year’s Dash this month. They also announced the cards for the New Beginning Shows in Sapporo and Osaka.
Kenny Omega has stated he is leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling. He also said, however, that he still wants a rematch with Hiroshi Tanahashi.
Kenny Omega was recently interviewed by Rolling Stone Japan. During the course of the interview, Omega responded to comments Tanahashi made regarding his in-ring ability earlier this year.
