Earlier today, Warner Media and AEW announced that pro-wrestling will be returning to TNT this fall. Additionally, Jim Ross and Cody took part in an interview with Variety.
Cody has been back to the US Patent and Trademark Office again recently. This time he has applied to trademark several WCW PPV names.
Cody has applied to trademark the name “Dusty Rhodes”. He filed documents with the US Patent and Trademark Office on March 14th. The same week, Cody applied to trademark the terms “the American Dream” and “the American Nightmare”.
Cody Rhodes has been doing the media rounds as of late, building anticipation for AEW’s Double or Nothing on May 25th.
All Elite Wrestling executive, Cody, will be on the shelf for a few months. The 33-year-old pulled out of the final stop of an ROH tour in November.
AEW announced the signing of Jungle Boy and a rally for February 7th.
Cody is not under contract to Ring of Honor. When 2019 rolls around, there is little reason to believe that will change.
