AEW News 3/21/19

On today’s episode of the Road to Double or Nothing, Impact Wrestling’s Allie was confirmed as signing with AEW.

Cody addressed why he has been filing for several trademarks as of late in the following Tweet:

Kenny Omega appeared via video at DDT in Japan today to apologize for stealing Michael Nakazawa. He then confirmed that Nakazawa will be able to work for both promotions. He then teased that you could see Omega back in DDT as well:

Jim Ross was not happy with Seth Rollins’ loss to Drew McIntyre in the main event of RAW on Monday.

“I didn’t like the way that Raw went off the air, where, again, a music interruption causes the decision of a match to be determined,” JR said.

“It happens over and over again: Interrupt, distraction, screwjob. Interrupt, distraction, screwjob.”

“I have a big problem with trying to protect everybody on the roster,” he continued.

“It’s not a game of protection. It’s a game of execution. If you can execute well, and you’re given the tools to execute well, there’s absolutely no reason that a loss to a talent that is already ‘over’, is going to significantly damage the persona of that individual.” –

Big E and Xavier Woods have hinted they could quit WWE due to how Vince McMahon treated Kofi Kingston in the Gauntlet match on Tuesday night. They both sent out videos addressing this.
