Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair Rivalry

After Lynch retained her title via a DQ loss to Flair on Super Show-Down a rematch was ordered for this Tuesday. The stipulation was added that if Lynch gets DQ’ed, she will lose the match and Smackdown Women’s Championship.

WWE World Cup Qualifying Matches

WWE has scheduled 2 World Cup Qualifying matches for this Tuesday’s Smackdown. Big Show will make his WWE return after more than a year’s absence and take on Randy Orton in the first qualifying match. The second qualifying match will be contested between Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe.

Daniel Bryan Earns A WWE Championship Match

With his win over Miz at Super Show-Down, Bryan earned a WWE Championship match at Crown Jewel against AJ Styles. Bryan also lost to Shelton Benjamin on Smackdown this week, however. On Tuesday, we might hear from Benjamin, who could use his victory over Bryan last week as a reason why he should be included in the WWE Championship picture. The win over Bryan could just lead to a rematch between the two somewhere down the line, however.

AJ Styles Fends Off Samoa Joe

Style’s victory at Super Show-Down seems to have concluded his rivalry with Samoa Joe. He already has a new challenger in Bryan lined up and Joe has been placed in a World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday. Joe won the first match via DQ at Summerslam, Styles tapped but got the pin at Hell in a Cell, and then finally Joe tapped at Super Show-Down giving Styles a 2-1 edge in the rivalry.

Daniel Bryan moves into the #1 spot this week stemming from his victory over the Miz at SSD. Shelton Benjamin, however, defeated Bryan this week on Smackdown. This could lead to Benjamin possibly getting in the mix for a WWE Championship match as well, or perhaps just a rematch with Bryan. Regardless, Benjamin jumps to #6 but has a case for a #1 contenders match since the guy he beat this week would later earn that ranking.

Peyton Royce moved up one spot in the rankings due to the Iiconics win at Super Show-Down so both Aussies were ranked above Naomi (she was pinned in their match). Since Asuka hasn’t been pinned by other Iiconic during this rivalry, they can’t be ranked above her.
