Mayu Iwatani will look to defend her WOH World Championship for a 3rd time when she’s inside Korakuen Hall on March 28th, 2019. ROH and Stardom have announced that Iwatani will defend her title against Natsuko Tora in a match which will air on Stardom World for subscribers.

Iwatani first won the title on February 10th against Kelly Klein. The two had actually met in the semi-finals of the tournament to declare an inaugural champion, with Klein coming out the victor. It’s the only single’s match Iwatani¬†has lost in ROH thus far.

Iwatani won the rubber-match between the two on March 15th on the ROH 17th Anniversary PPV. Klein had actually controlled much of the match but Iwatani secured a roll-up to get the 3-count.

Iwatani has defended her WOH championship twice in the 42 days since she won it. She defeated Konami on February 24th, 2019 from Osaka Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan for Stardom. Her next defense was the rubber match against Klein on March 15th. She’s won the following titles while wrestling for Stardom:
