Matt Riddle has once again called out Brock Lesnar. This time, Riddle got on the microphone at an NXT house show in Las Vegas over the weekend and guaranteed that he will retire Brock Lesnar. Riddle was celebrating the fact that the show in Vegas was held at the Palms, where Riddle had his first UFC fight 12 years ago.
We break down Matt Riddle’s quest to retire Brock Lesnar in the video below:
Riddle posted the following to Twitter leading up to the show:
12 years ago I had my first fight with the UFC and now 12 years later at the very same venue (THE PALMS) I wrestle for NXT in front of my friends and family, moments like this make me extremely proud because I never gave up on myself even when this seemed impossible #bro pic.twitter.com/my3yDwGJJp

At the show, he said the following:
“This is just the beginning,” Riddle said at the show. “12 years ago, it started and 12 years from now I’ll still be going and I guarantee you this Las Vegas, the Bro retires Brock Lesnar. And you know what? The Broserweights are NXT, DIY is NXT, and everybody in this building is NXT!”
NXT Stars Told Not To Call Out Main Roster Stars
Riddle has continued to make comments regarding Brock Lesnar even after it had been reported the two had a confrontation at the Royal Rumble and that NXT stars were told by WWE management not to call out wrestlers from the main roster.
“Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in sh*t because you and I will never work together. Ever.”

Not long after, however, the official YouTube channel for the WWE Performance Center posted a video featuring Riddle saying he still wants his match with Brock Lesnar.
“I really wanted to get my hands on Brock! I saw him throwing everybody around, I don’t care what he says, or anybody else says, I don’t care if he wants the match or not. I’m gonna get it. I don’t care. It’s not up to him.
“I don’t like being told no. Especially when I work as hard as I do. Trust me, I guarantee you, I guarantee you I get my hands on him and I make that match happen. And I take his f… I take his career, I promise, I promise.”
What Is Happening With Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar?
Despite the reports that Matt Riddle is not to be calling out main roster stars such as Brock Lesnar, he has been. It is unclear if he is doing so on his own accord or if he actually is permitted to do what he has been doing despite the many online reports which state he has been told not to.
