Sad news today for fans of the Hardy Boyz. Jeff Hardy has been arrested for DWI in Concord, North Carolina. The incident occurred over the weekend after Jeff crashed his car late Saturday night. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and Jeff is believed to be fine.
He was given a court date for next month and released.
Matt Hardy, who has a history of DWI arrests himself, sent out the following not long after news of his brother’s arrest had broke.
EVAH since the #7Deities have come to me, I do not put alcohol, drugs, or foreign substances into my VESSEL.
I AM MORE.

Jeff Hardy Substance Abuse Issues
This is not the first time Jeff has run into trouble due to substance abuse issues. In 2010, Jeff showed up in no condition to perform for the TNA Victory Road pay-per-view. The company was forced to book a quick match between Sting and him as a result.
Jeff also served a short jail sentence in 2011 after a raid of his home found painkillers and other illegal substances.
Matt Hardy has had his own substance abuse issues through the years which also includes DWI charges. He went to WWE-sponsored rehab in 2011 and has not had any further issues, however.
WWE reeased the following statement
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
