Flip Gordon injury update

Flip Gordon suffered an MCL tear during his match with Tracy Williams at Honor Reigns Supreme. The 27-year-old was unable to continue the match, which was held on January 13th in Concord, NC.

ROH sent out an update on Flip’s condition recently. He is not expected to miss the promotion’s big G1 Supercard event in Madison Square Garden this spring.

ROH Press Release On Flip Gordon Injury

An MRI exam revealed that Ring of Honor star Flip Gordon suffered a full MCL tear in his right knee during a match at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, N.C., on Jan. 13.

The good news is that the timetable for Gordon’s recovery means he should be able to compete at Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s historic G1 Supercard show at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6.

The injury occurred when Gordon hit a running dropkick in the corner on his opponent, Tracy Williams. Gordon tried to continue the match, but his knee gave out and the referee called for the bell.
