Taya Valkyrie To Challenge Tessa Blanchard At Bound For Glory

Tessa Blanchard successfully defended her Knockouts Championship this week against Faby Apache. After vanquishing the Reina De Reinas Champion, Blanchard cut a promo saying there was no one left in the division for her to beat. Taya Valkyrie appeared on the video screen wearing a Perros Del Mal T-Shirt. She explained Blanchard had never beaten her and challenged her to a match at Bound For Glory. The match was later made official.

Updated on Impact Wrestling and WWE Meetings

There was a correction this week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter regarding the meetings which took place last week between WWE and Impact management.

Here are some key quotes from Meltzer’s update:

“It was WWE that requested the meeting, that Impact pitching as we reported was not correct,”

“It was said that no deal of any note came out of the meeting and that while Impact has been a huge money loser for most of its existence, the bleeding money of 2017 has also been turned around this year and it’s a much more efficient business.”

Here is a YouTube video I put out earlier this week on this:
