Rey Mysterio Jr. believes he has torn his left biceps while wrestling for NorthEast Wrestling Friday night in Waterbury, CT. The timeline to heal from this injury varies. If it is only a partial tear, he will be able to return to action in 3 to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, if it is a complete tear, it will most likely require surgery and keep him out of action between 4 to 6 months.
This means unless Mysterio is willing to compete with the injury, he will most likely miss Strong Style Evolved on March 25th and any bookings he was going to take over WrestleMania weekend as well.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter was the first to report on the injury but it should be noted Mysterio has yet to see a doctor and confirm what he believes to be the case.

Mysterio called out junior heavyweight legend, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, to face him at Strong Style Evolved on March 25th. He has also been playing a key role in the new 5-Star Wrestling television program based out of Liverpool.
Mysterio returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble in January. Rumors were flying after that the two sides were looking to work out a deal which would see him return to the company.
We will post any updates on Mysterio’s condition as they come in.
